SIRVA Added to Russell 3000? Index
CHICAGO, June 30, 2004 – SIRVA, Inc. (NYSE: SIR), a global relocation services provider, announced today that it has been added to the Russell 3000? Index, which measures the performance of the 3,000 largest U.S. companies based on total market capitalization. SIRVA’s inclusion in the Index became effective on June 25 when the Frank Russell Company reconstituted its family of U.S. indices for the next year.
Russell’s stock indices, including the Russell 1000?, Russell 2000?, and Russell 3000?, are recognized as objective, market-based benchmarks for evaluating investment managers. The U.S. indices, which presently encompass 21 distinct benchmarks, were initiated in 1982, and today are used as investment models for more than $360 billion in investment assets.
